TUTOR

IF YOU ARE A TUTOR...

In a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course), the tutor plays a key role in facilitating the learning of the participants, despite the massive and online nature of the course. Their main functions include:

  1. Accompaniment and guidance: The tutor guides the students throughout the course, resolving doubts, offering recommendations and supporting the understanding of the contents.
  2. Encouraging participation: The tutor encourages students to participate actively in forums, debates and collaborative activities, creating a more dynamic and interactive learning environment.
  3. Monitoring progress: Although MOOCs are largely self-managed, the tutor can monitor participation, identify students with difficulties and provide timely feedback.
  4. Resolution of doubts: Answer questions related to the content, navigation of the platform, evaluations and other technical or pedagogical aspects of the course.
  5. Feedback: Provide constructive comments on the activities carried out by the students, especially in open exercises or peer evaluations.
  6. Motivational support: Help to maintain the interest and motivation of the participants, reminding them of important dates, recognising achievements and encouraging perseverance.

To become a tutor on the platform, you must first apply to be a tutor. To do so, send an email to tutor@digitalinclusionvet.eu and request it. We will get in touch with you. Please note that this functionality is available nationwide.

Once you have the capacity to tutor, you can access the module through the new functionality available on the website.

The screen will show the students who have taken the test, and the scores obtained. To be able to select the module you want to check, you can access the drop-down menu and select the module.
